Kelvin 40 is a one-of-a-kind work created by designer Marc Newson. It is a concept jet, 8 meters in length with an 8-meter wingspan. This project was made possible by the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, who commissioned the piece.
The distinctive feature of this eponymous exhibition is the presentation of an object in a cultural setting that was created using high-technology manufacturing techniques. It also exemplifies the unique relationship and mode of collaboration with artists that the Fondation Cartier has always sought to establish.
